I am looking to capture the key motion/force and passive lines of the forms .. as there's not so much time ( I've gotten slow this summer ?) to develop lots of turning form.. I am liking the feel of these quick poses - still much to learn .. want to focus a bit more on line quality and experimentation with quick applications of value.. great models!

i still toil in graphite and charcoal as well, there's nothing wrong with that. it's all about mastering the foundations. it takes a life time to master this.
glad to see that you are practicing a lot and working out those drawing muscles. i hope i see you at my monday night quickstudies workshop this fall. you'd better be there, or i'll hunt you down:)
have a great rest of the break kev. see you soon.
your figure drawings are so good. I mean your gesture is right on key, I love looking at your page.
As for my self portrait, yes that was done from a photo, I really would like to draw from a mirror at some point, it's good practice.
Well I am slightly biased so - and given your great figure work Rita - i think you should be drawing more PEOPLE! ;-) Thank you for the kind note - I look forward to your next cool work! - kw
